Realizing the role of Religious in the Church: Fr. John Burns

Has the Church become like a “single parent” family? Where are our spiritual mothers? How can we help bring them back? These are just a few of the questions Fr. John Burns and other Church figures have begun to ask. Seeking to revitalize, encourage, and support young women discerning a religious vocation, Fr. John Burns’ movement “Friends of the Bridegroom” focuses on helping restore the place of the spiritual mother in the Church.
